Iced Matcha Tea with Cucumber and Lemon

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 tsp matcha tea powder
  • 6 1/2 cup warm water
  • 9 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 9 Tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup cucumber sliced thin
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • Whisk matcha powder into warm water until dissolved. Place into the cooler to chill.
  • Make simple syrup by combining water and sugar in a pot. Bring mixture up to a simmer and stir until sugar has dissolved. Chill mixture.
  • Combine matcha tea mixture, simple syrup and lemon juice. Pour into a glass over ice and garnish with cucumber.
