Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal with Pecans

Ingredients

  • 2 cup old fashioned oats Dry
  • 4-1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1-1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup dark molasses
  • 1 cup fresh pumpkin canned
  • 6 Tbsp pecan halves chopped

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients (except for pumpkin puree and pecan) into a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes and then fold in pumpkin puree. Stir to heat through. Serve with toasted pecans on the side.
